Sailaxmi Foundation proudly presented Chhandotsav 2.0 — a vibrant celebration of Gujarat’s rich folk poetry and musical heritage. Building on the success of its first edition, this unique initiative aimed to revive and reinterpret the state’s timeless verses for modern audiences.

The event not only showcased rare and heroic folk compositions but also helped attendees appreciate their rhythm, structure, and deeper meaning. The evening featured the masterful Sairam Dave, whose storytelling brought the poetry to life, alongside eminent folk artists Rajbha Gadhvi and Anubha Gadhvi, whose soulful performances captured the lyrical essence of Saurashtra’s tradition.

Through diverse Chhand styles such as tribhangi, charchari, rinukini, and trikutbandh, and songs like Saparaka and Hansawado, Chhandotsav 2.0 reaffirmed Sailaxmi Foundation’s commitment to preserving Gujarat’s literary and musical legacy while making it engaging and accessible for today’s generation.
